Indwe

October 25, 2013 in News by AdminIRIS

IndeweFrom the much respected Native Rhythms Productions, this album is produced by the award-winning and critically claimed Thapelo Khomo.  Indwe’s music bears testimony to Maya Angelou’s expression that “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.

Indwe’s music fills the infinite between two souls.

Indwe’s music, which can be described as ethno-world with soulful intent, is uncompromising Afrocentric and with a distinct sound that resonates beyond borders whilst rooted in Xhosa folklore.

A surprise music contribution is a remix of Iyana by Shazz – a well-known French record producer and remixer who also secured the services of the pianist of the legendary St Germain, Alexandre Destrez to play on the remix. Also, the fast becoming tribal house Dj and radio presenter, Sol Phenduka, has added his indigenous elements on the Phila remix track.

Indwe’s album joins South Africa’s Greatest Songbook, preserve and archive it.

Indwe has a song and the world must Listen.
